Under a storm-dark sky, he stood alone.
He ignited his lightsaber, a single purple blade. It crackled, caught between darkness and light.
“I was made for the dark,” he said.
“You still have a choice,” replied a voice, stepping from the shadows.
Blaster fire suddenly rang out. Raiders charged.
The Crimson warden moved fast, precise, controlled. He disarmed them, drove them back… but didn’t kill.
One enemy remained, trembling before him. He raised his blade.
The old voice inside him screamed.
End him.
He paused… then powered down his saber.
Silence.
“Not today.” 
The Stranger nodded. “That’s where it begins.”
